I joined the Monstars (UTD’s Womens Ultimate Frisbee team) as a college freshman to stay active and make friends. I had no idea that this team would serve as a second family to me and provide me with an opportunity to channel my creative energy. As elected “Design Officer” for the Monstars, I collaborated with other leadership positions to create many team designs since 2016 including jerseys, discs, and sweaters.
